We know it can be stressful queuing up and spending a day applying for a visa to visit China. That’s the last thing you need when preparing for your trip abroad. We specialise in providing visa for those wishing to travel to China. All visa are sent for processing from our Central London branch which is with-in walking distance of the embassy, which enables us to provide an extremely efficient service.

Need to know information

               
Passport :
British passport valid for at least 6 months.
Must have two free pages for visa.
 
  Processing Time :
4 - 5 days from the day of receiving your passport
 
  What you need:

(Please also read the notes from the Chinese Embassy at the botton of this webpage)
One completed visa form.
One passport size photo.
Your travel itinerary or a copy of your tickets.
(If you bought these form Skylord Travel then there is no need to send them in)

Business Travellers:-
Will also require an Offiicial letter of Invitation from the company they will be working with while in China.

To apply for a visa please follow the steps below:-
           
 

Step 1.
Download the China Visa Application form. If you can not open this file click here to download Acrobat Reader.

Step 2.
Complete the form, please make sure the form is completed in black ink and is clear and legible.
Please note that the visa form does not have a field to enter your phone number, if you are sending us your form by post we advise that you write your phone number at the top of the form or on a note accompanying the form. This is so we can contact you in case of any queries relating to your visa.

Step 3.
Please make sure you send us all the correct documenttion and informatioin as stated in the "Need to Know Section
".

Step 4.
Either drop your completed form, passport photos and passport to one of our UK based branches.

If you are sending us your forms by post we recommend that you send them by recorded delivery or special delivery.

Payment Methods

Payment to Skylord Travel should be for the full amount.
Visa fee, Handling Charge & Postage (if applicable)

Cheque: Please make cheques payable to Skylord Travel Plc.
Visa applications paid by cheque will be sent to the embasy as soon as we receive them but will only be sent back to you, once the cheque has cleared.

Cash: Can be paid into anyone of our branches. (click here for addresses).
Please do not send cash in the post.

Notes from Chinese Embassy :

  1. The application for a visa mayy be declined if the applicant fails to provide true and complete information on the form.
  2. The regulations of the issued visa should be strictly observed; otherwise, the applicant shall bear all consequences arising thereafter.
  3. The person holding X, Z, D, or J-1 visa should go through registration formality in the local public security department within 30 days of the date of entry.
