The region offers some excellent diving from calm, shallow sites p erfect for training to high vo ltage dives in strong currents and some deep dives for the larger pelagics. Some of the best dive opera tors in the Philippines are found h ere, making it an ideal place to learn to dive. Diving is possible year-ro und, with the best time being March to October. Around 25 dive sites are accessible within 15 mins of the resort, visibility is usually between 15-40m.

Scuba Diving
Aside from the breathtaking bays, Puerto Galera has the most endemic species of marine life in the Philippines. Since a recent study made by American biologist Kent Carpenter and Victor Springer recognized Philippines as the center of marine fish biodiversity and the home of the most diverse marine ecosystem in the world, Puerto Galera, specifically the VERDE ISLAND passage is now renowned as the “CENTER” of the center of the MOST DIVERSE MARINE ECOSYSTEM IN THE WORLD.
Puerto Galera offers more than 40 dive sites. Depth is between 5m to 40m with water temperature ranging between 26-29 centigrade. The island is considered as warm water diving, 3mm thicknesses of wetsuits are the norms. The tide exchange is from few centimeters up to 2 meters. The selection of the dive sites depends on the tidal exchange. The currents which is common in the area are often brisk and unpredictable, creating conditions which at time prove challenging for novice divers.

The diving operation was established with a goal of providing exploration, experience and excitement in an exotic environment without compromising safety in diving.
In the past three (3) years, the center provides personalized services with small training ratio and caters to both advanced and beginner divers.
Our Diving Team comprises of PADI instructors, professional dive masters and
well trained boat crews. The dive resort has two speedboats, 24 Ft. 95 hp & one 40 Ft. speedboat, 205 hp, all are equipped with life vests, first aid equipment, DAN oxygen kits, radio enable communication.
All staffs are trained in emergency first aid response and are committed to deliver the highest quality of service to all Marco Vincent guests.
