Itinerary Details

Day 01

Flight to Delhi.

Day 02 Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi you will be greeted and escorted by Indo Asia Tour's staff to your hotel (Rooms are booked from previous night to facilitate immediate check in ).
Breakfast at the hotel, and later proceed for a combined sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. In "Old Delhi" the capital of Moslem India, you will visit Red Fort and Jama Masjid, both built by Emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame. Also see Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
Later we have a tour of "New Delhi", visiting India Gate and drive past the majestic government buildings and the wide boulevards designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the 1920s. Also see the monuments left behind by other invaders including the Qutub Minar and the Humayun's Tomb. Overnight stay in your hotel.

Day 03 Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast we drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check in at the hotel in Jaipur. Later in the evening enjoy a rickshaw ride in the Lanes of Pink City. Rest of the day is free at leisure. There have been at least eight cities built over the millennia around modern New Delhi, the capital of India. Standing on the west bank of the Yamuna river at the narrowest point between the Aravali hills and the Himalaya, for over 2,000 years Delhi has commanded the strategically vital route from the Northwest frontier to the agriculturally rich Ganga plains. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur

After breakfast, a half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort with an elephant ride. En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). In the afternoon visit the "Pink City" of Jaipur. You will visit City Palace, and Royal Observatory (Janter Manter-1728-34). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 Jaipur - Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. It is a beautiful and deserted medieval city built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire. The Mughals later abandoned this city for lack of water. After arrival in Agra check in into your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 06 Chambal Safari

In the morning after breakfast drive for a day excursion of the Chambal Safari also includes lunch.

Day 07 Agra to Delhi

In the Morning after breakfast visit Taj Mahal, built in the 17th century by Shahjahan- the fifth Mughal emperor, in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
We drive to Delhi, enroute visiting Sikandra. On arrival we transfer to the International Airport to return home.
